Bolsover Drama Group

Bolsover Drama Group are proud to again be nominated for NODA East Midlands awards for district 2 for our 2015 pantomime ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ and the youth section production of ‘Little Shop of Horrors’. The winner will be announced at the NODA East Midlands AGM and Awards Day at Loughborough Town Hall on Sunday 5th June – keep an eye on our website, Facebook page and Twitter account to find out how we do. The chance to be nominated for awards such as these is one benefit we gain from being affiliated to NODA, the National Operatic and Dramatic Association, who also offer advice, information and workshops to amateur dramatics groups throughout the country.

Congratulations to Ann Bashford who won our ‘Spot the Arrow’ game which was run during our production of ‘Robin Hood and Babes in the Wood’. Ann picked D18 as the location she predicted the arrow would land in – which was drawn at random by a member of the audience during the Saturday evening performance. By picking the winning co-ordinates Ann won a luxury hamper which was presented to her at her home by  our Chairman, Mick Whitehouse, and Vice Chairman, Chris Peck.
