Bolsover Drama Group

On Bank Holiday Sunday, 30th August, members of Bolsover Drama Group donned their walking boots to take part in a sponsored walk to raise funds for the group. In glorious summer sunshine the 12-mile circular walk set off from the Bolsover to Doe Lea and Ault Hucknall via the Stockley Trail, returning via Glapwell and Scarcliffe, and raised over £600 towards the group’s coffers. Thank you to those who took part and all who sponsored the group.

We are grateful to local taxi firm Bolsover Cars for assisting with the promotion of the group and this production by sponsoring a new banner which has been displayed in Bolsover. Dale Shaw and Leanne Collins, who play the title roles of Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker in this production of Bonnie & Clyde, are pictured with Bolsover Cars’ Mark Bedford. The group would like to congratulate two of our members, Dale Shaw and Michelle Simpson, who tied the knot in July at Kelham Hall, Newark. We wish the new Mr & Mrs Shaw happiness in their future together.
